Camp Program:
This camp will touch upon all facets of wrestling. Some more of the finer techniques will be instructed illustrating form especially takedowns and pinning combinations. The camp will also feature a 45 minute session of conditioning technique
called Circuit Training developed by Coach Codden.
Camp Start/End:4 days Tuesday June 15th @ 7:45am Breakfast/registration at the Manistee High School. The camp will run from 7:45am to 4pm through the 16th, 17th and the 18th.
Registration:Send $25 non-refundable deposit payable to Chris Codden-Manistee Wrestling. Send check or cash to Chris Codden 525 12th St., Manistee, MI 49660. Cost is $60. The $25 dollars is part of the finally price if attending.

Meals: Breakfast and lunch provided to all wrestlers. Coaches are $2.75 each. Camping is an option at the area campgrounds or my yard. Host Hotel with a special rate for this camp is Super 8. Make sure you mention this Wrestling camp. ****

2010 Manistee Wrestling Camp

Criteria for selection of the cadet team going to Minnesota to wrestle in the Cadet duals June 16-19

1.returning AA/dual dream team member
2.returning team member from 09
3. national regional tournament place winners
4. musaw state tournament place winners
5. coaches discretion

We are taking two full teams plus alternates to both Greco and Fresstyle tournaments

Cost: $350 without singlets and $450 with singlets

Make sure you submit your bio at the state tournament. If you cannot make it contact Zack to let him know you are interested in the teams or Fargo.

Our head referee, Lance, will be reviewing the rules with the experienced refs, recruiting more adults and athletes to ref and teaching us fans more about Freestyle and Greco at 8:30 at Napoleon. We need those that are willing to step up and be counted on to give back to the great sport, the sport we have received so much from. There will be other trainings coming but this is a great opportunity to start at the opening tournament of the season and get the most from the training

Its great to have so many young and old folks volunteering at our tournaments. Everyone please remember to register for your license. When you receive your stamp, card, and book, bring them to the next tournament and the Head Official will sign them.
